Krihaven - Early Demo

Krihaven is a 2D pixel-art action-adventure that blends side-scrolling combat, exploration, and detective-style investigation. Step into the role of a ranger sent into a dark cave teeming with cave creatures and skeletons to investigate a massacre. Gather evidence, question what you've been told, and uncover the truth.

About this demo:

Krihaven is currently in early development. This demo offers a look at its exploration, combat, and investigation systems.

I'm looking for playtesters to help improve the experience. Honest feedback is welcome, especially about movement, combat, level design, exploration, objective clarity, and the investigation mechanics. If something confuses you, feels frustrating, or doesn't work as expected, please let me know in the comments section.

Platform: Linux (64-bit) only for this demo.

This is an early development build of Krihaven, released for playtesting and feedback. Windows and macOS builds are not currently available.

How to download and run

1. Download `Krihaven-Linux-x86_64.zip`.

2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder of your choice.

3. Open a terminal in the extracted folder.

4. Make the game executable and launch it:

chmod +x Krihaven.x86_64
./Krihaven.x86_64

Troubleshooting: If the game doesn't launch, try running it from a terminal to see any error messages. Please include those messages when reporting a bug, along with your Linux distribution and a brief description of what happened.
